Korrutamise seadused:
Vahetuvuse ehk kommutatiivsuse seadus
a ⋅ b = b ⋅ a
Näide: 2 ⋅ 3 = 3 ⋅ 2
Ühenduvuse ehk assotsiatiivsuse seadus.
(a ⋅ b) ⋅ c = a ⋅ (b ⋅ c)
Näide: (2 ⋅ 3) ⋅ 5 = 2 ⋅ (3 ⋅ 5) = (2 ⋅ 5) ⋅ 3
Ühega korrutamine.
1 ⋅ a = a ⋅ 1 = 1a =a
Näide: 1 ⋅ 3 = 3 ⋅ 1 = 3
Nulliga korrutamine.
0 ⋅ a = a ⋅ 0 = 0
Näide: 0 ⋅ 13 = 13 ⋅ 0 = 0
Korrutamise jaotuvusseadus ehk distributiivsuse seadus.
a ⋅ (b + c) = (b + c) ⋅ a = a⋅b + a⋅c = ac + ac
a ⋅ (b – c) = (b – c) ⋅ a = a⋅b – a⋅c = ac – ac
2 ⋅ (3 + 5) = (3 + 5) ⋅ 2 = 2 ⋅ 3 + 2 ⋅ 5
5 ⋅ (6 – 4) = (6 – 4) ⋅ 5 = 5⋅6 – 5⋅4
20 ⋅ 15 = 20 (10 + 5) = 20 ⋅ 10 + 20 ⋅ 5
