x axis is the horizontal axis of a graph or Cartesian coordinate plane.

x coordinate is the position of a point according to the x axis.

The x- axes is horizontal and the y- axes is vertical

The first coordinate refers to the x- axes and the second coordinate refers to the y- axes:
