Unit price
A unit price is the price for one item or measurement, such as a pound, a kilogram, or a pint, which can be used to compare the same type of goods sold in varying weights and amounts.
To find the unit price of something, we divide the cost by the number of units of measurement. That is, the unit price is equal to the cost divided by the number of kilograms, liters, pounds, etc.
