Horizontal

Horizontal is that which is arranged from left to right or vice versa, like a man who sleeps in a horizontal position. Some examples of horizontal things are:

The horizon, which is the imaginary line of flight that we see when contemplating a landscape, there at the bottom of everything.

A table, which has a flat and horizontal surface.

An open book, which has the pages arranged from left to right.
