Distance measures length.<\/strong> <\/span>For example, the distance of a road is how long the road is.<\/p>\n

In the metric system of measurement, the most common units of distance are\u00a0millimeters, centimeters, meters, and kilometers<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The parsec<\/strong>\u00a0is the biggest unit of distance that is used to measure the distance between the astronomical objects that are outside the solar system.<\/p>\n
