Speed

Speed is how fast something is moving, how far it travels in a given time.
speed = distance ÷ time

Examples:

 1) I travelled 270 km and the trip took 3 hours. Average speed.

  speed = 270 : 3 = 90 km/h

 2)  The speed of the car is 90 km/h. It takes 4 hours to complete the journey. How many km were covered? 

   Distance = 90 ⋅ 4 = 360 km

 3) I travelled 270 km and the speed of car is 90 km/h. How many hour  the trip take place?

  Time = 270 : 90 = 3h
