Quarter

QUARTER is one part of four equal parts. A whole unit consists of four quarters.  

When a whole number is devided in 4 equal parts, number 1 notes the part (the quarter) and 4 represents the number of parts into which the whole has been divided. In numerical form, it is written as 1/4.

In everyday life there are many occasions that include quarter examples!

Every year consists of four Seasons. Every season is 1/4 of the year!
