3rd Primary School of Chalastra is a six-year, primary, compulsory public school which operates in the morning and has an optional afternoon program zone for studying. It implements the curriculum and the timetable schedule drawn up by Greek Ministry of Education for all primary schools in the country.
Its program includes General Education courses and specialty courses (English, Physical Education, Aesthetic Education, Music, ICT, German/French), while since 2021-22 school year, “21st Century Skills Workshops” are implemented too. In addition to the prescribed courses, Erasmus+ programs are carried out and for this purpose a pedagogical team was created to manage them.
The school primarily aims at providing its pupils a quality social and learning environment where they can fully develop their personalities and acquire the skills and competencies needed to become the future world’s citizens. Currently, focusing in STEM education will further help the school to meet this purpose.
